The Cronavirus pandemic is presenting new growth opportunities as organizations look for creative ways to develop and grow, and now NASA tapping into University Teams for aviation technology.
NASA missions are the epitome of engineering, computer science and innovation. NASA is where despite all constraints, challenges and difficulties, the human kind rises above differences to solve our greatest challenges.
NASA has selected five teams led by university faculty and students to examine a range of technical areas in support of the agency’s aeronautics research goals.
Universities participating in this program, so far include, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University receiving $8 Million over four years, Oklahoma State University receiving $5.2 million over four years, Stanford University receiving $8 million over four years, and University of Delaware receiving $5.9 million over four years.
Contrary to widespread misconception that is often times quoted as a party joke, NASA is not well funded.
NASA’s total budget represents less than half (1/2) percent of the total Government spending budget.
All these discoveries that gives us purpose, direction and meaning – all of it comes from this ½ percent investment, and it is this investment that has made United States a leading nation in the field of science.
Imagine for a moment if all the nations of the world competed with each other in space exploration as we compete in military prowess where the humankind would be today.
It is fascinating how this is evolving and impacting our lives.
I try to post developments on my website, one for referencing back when you are writing something or researching, and two to share with everyone.
