Flare a Kenya based startup has taken the same Uber style concept and adapted it for Ambulance service, to providers users an opportunity to directly request paramedics and ambulance service from their phone.
The more technologies like these become mainstream, it will lower costs, making tech more mainstream.
What I am more interested to learn is if this has any potential for mass adoption across the globe, where the primary way we communicate with emergency servcies or police for that matter is through a Mobile Pone app.
Last but not the least, tech like this needs to be affordable and mainstream enough to be considered by small business market.
It is fascinating how this technology is evolving and impacting our lives.
