The reason I say we would “want to” is because, in most cases it is just that – a desire. Instagram had to swiftly change directions after re-configuring its feed resulted in overwhelming backlash on Thursday.
The programmers and designers switched from a traditional scrolling feed to a swipe-based system overnight, and what came as a shock to the 1 Billion users, with no advance warning or announcement.

What is even more interesting, that the users took to the competing social media platform twitter to complain about the change.
